World number 713 Christiaan Burke shared the lead with Eugenio Chacarra as Brandon Robinson Thompson led the British challenge at the Alfred Dunhill Championship in Johannesburg.<\/p>\n
Spaniard Chacarra shot 63, making eight birdies, an eagle and just one bogey.<\/p>\n
Burke amazingly birdied his first six holes \u2013 “Always fun, a six-birdie start,” he joked afterwards \u2013 and a birdie-eagle finish took him alongside Chacarra at the summit.<\/p>\n
Fellow South Africans Thriston Lawrence and Brandon Stone were one off the lead on eight under, with Robinson Thompson a shot further back \u2013 sharing fifth place with three more home players in Branden Grace, Daniel van Tonder and Samuel Simpson \u2013 after two eagles in his 65.<\/p>\n
