Manchester United target Tyler Adams will be looking forward to playing at Old Trafford on Monday night, after elaborating on a previous visit to the stadium during his time at RB Leipzig.<\/p>\n

Old Trafford<\/a> remains one of the best stadiums in the Premier League<\/a>, even though Sir Jim Ratcliffe has plans for a new stadium<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s one of the best, most iconic stadiums in the world \u2013 but United will hope to enjoy success wherever they move. Ruben Amorim<\/a> hopes he is the one to guide the club at their new stadium as head coach, but construction will take years to complete.<\/p>\n

United have a lot of work to do if they\u2019re to be winning league titles by the time there\u2019s a new stadium. The Red Devils are currently sixth in the Premier League<\/a> standings, with a chance of being in the top four for the New Year.<\/p>\n

Next up for United is Bournemouth at Old Trafford<\/a>. They\u2019re currently 13th in the Premier League but will prove to be a greater challenge than Wolves earlier this week.<\/p>\n

Tyler Adams is one of three United targets<\/a> who are playing for Bournemouth.<\/p>\n

That means Adams is in line to feature against United, but it won\u2019t be the first time.<\/p>\n

Adams played against United for RB Leipzig in the Champions League<\/a> before doing the same in the Premier League for Leeds and Bournemouth.<\/p>\n

However, Adams\u2019 first game at Old Trafford has stuck with him.<\/p>\n

Speaking on The Captain presented by Verizon<\/a>, Adams said: \u201cI think for me, I played against Manchester United at Old Trafford during COVID with Leipzig. And that was the first time I walked into Old Trafford and I was like, my dream is really to play in the Premier League because this is what it\u2019s about right here.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is what you grow up watching, whether you\u2019re a fan or not a fan of Manchester United, walking into Old Trafford will change your perspective on everything. So I think now being able to go back and play there multiple times, have good results especially makes it a little bit better. So yeah, I always get excited to play against United.<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean, it\u2019s just a special occasion.\u201d<\/p>\n

United remain interested in Adams<\/a> as they weigh up midfield options ahead of 2026.<\/p>\n

The United States international has Premier League experience, which will help Amorim conclude when he sees him up close on Monday night.<\/p>\n

Adams has played against United five times.<\/p>\n

He won his first game 3-2 with Leipzig and received a yellow card in the 81st minute, and his last win came last season in the Premier League.<\/p>\n
