{"id":312529,"date":"2025-12-12T18:41:07","date_gmt":"2025-12-12T18:41:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/312529\/"},"modified":"2025-12-12T18:41:07","modified_gmt":"2025-12-12T18:41:07","slug":"tyson-fury-completely-changes-his-anthony-joshua-vs-jake-paul-prediction-as-fight-nears","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/312529\/","title":{"rendered":"Tyson Fury completely changes his Anthony Joshua vs Jake Paul prediction as fight nears"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/boxingnewsonline.net\/boxer\/tyson-fury\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tyson Fury<\/a> has had a change of heart when it comes to <a href=\"https:\/\/boxingnewsonline.net\/boxer\/jake-paul\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jake Paul<\/a> vs <a href=\"https:\/\/boxingnewsonline.net\/boxer\/anthony-joshua\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Anthony Joshua<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/boxing\/story\/_\/id\/47267909\/anthony-joshua-intends-outclass-outshine-hurt-jake-paul\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Paul and Joshua meet in their controversial eight-round heavyweight battle<\/a> next Friday at the Kaseya Center in Miami, with the event broadcast live on Netflix.<\/p>\n<p>It is the first time that Paul has gone up against a legitimate active boxer during his career, having spent the majority of it taking on former MMA fighters or ageing boxers way past their best.<\/p>\n<p>His last outing saw him claim a unanimous decision victory over former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr in their cruiserweight bout in June, but a clash against Joshua is a whole different prospect.<\/p>\n<p>Joshua is a former two-time world heavyweight champion, though his last bout back in September 2024 ended in a defeat when he was knocked out by Daniel Dubois.<\/p>\n<p>Despite that loss, most figures in the boxing world expect a straightforward win for AJ, <a href=\"https:\/\/boxingnewsonline.net\/news\/tyson-fury-on-joshua-facing-paul\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">although his long-term rival Fury initially backed Paul to win the fight by knockout.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>With the contest now just a few days away, Fury has changed his mind, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@oooschtv\/video\/7582917855524424982?_r=1&amp;_t=ZN-929yqo8gu18\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">telling Ooosch TV<\/a> that he expects it to go the full eight rounds.<\/p>\n<p>I think it\u2019ll go the distance and I think it\u2019ll be a move around.
