\n Piknikbox launched in Vicarage Street, North Walsham, on Friday morning.\n<\/p>\n
\n Customers will be able to come in and get comfortable while tucking into sandwiches, sausage rolls and homemade cakes – all of which will be completely gluten-free.\n<\/p>\n

\n Owner and founder Helen Taylor is gluten intolerant herself and said she has to be “very careful” when she is eating out.\n<\/p>\n
\n “A lot of the time, when you go somewhere and tell them you are gluten-free, they will say ‘you can have chips’,” she said.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Some places have even offered me a banana, which is just silly!”\n<\/p>\n

\n Ms Taylor runs a catering unit at Beeston Regis Holiday Park and said she had a lot of calls for gluten-free items, which inspired her to go all in.\n<\/p>\n
\n She has always dreamed of opening a caf\u00e9, so she has put a lot of care into designing the space.\n<\/p>\n

\n “I wanted something that looked a bit boujee – I love antiques so I have them everywhere, and we have some lovely vintage crockery.\n<\/p>\n
\n “There’s also a 1950s-inspired area.”\n<\/p>\n

\n Ms Taylor added she is especially happy to have opened in North Walsham.\n<\/p>\n
\n “I am an Aylsham girl originally, but I have lived in Meeting Hill, about a mile from North Walsham, for 11 years,” she explained.\n<\/p>\n
