Lewis Capaldi<\/a> has dismissed bizarre rumours of a feud with Taylor Swift<\/a>, branding the rumours \u2018hogwash.\u2019<\/p>\n

The Someone You Loved singer, 29, sparked theories of tension with the 35-year-old pop megastar when they both appeared on The Graham Norton<\/a> Show in October.<\/p>\n

He said he \u2018wasn\u2019t allowed\u2019 to talk about his new EP, prompting fans to suggest the Opalite singer hadn\u2019t wanted Lewis to talk about his music in case it took the spotlight away from her new album The Life of a Showgirl<\/a>.<\/p>\n

But Lewis has now insisted that wasn\u2019t the case and revealed it was actually his record company that didn\u2019t want him discussing the project until it was formally announced.<\/p>\n

Speaking on The Kyle and Jackie O Show, he said: \u2018I\u2019ll use a word here. That\u2019s hogwash.<\/p>\n

\u2018I saw a TikTok<\/a> about that. And it\u2019s a woman being like, \u201cTaylor did this and she\u2019s evil\u201d and this and that. And I\u2019m going like, \u201cThat\u2019s completely made up.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2018Basically, my EP hadn\u2019t been announced yet. So, I was told by my label, \u201cDon\u2019t tell people before you go on.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2018Not like a, \u201cYou can\u2019t tell people.2 It was like, \u2018It\u2019s not been announced yet, so don\u2019t tell people.\u201d\u2018 <\/p>\n

He then went on to suggest that fans thought Taylor was to blame after she asked \u2018Who said that?\u2019 when he said he wasn\u2019t allowed to speak about the release on The Graham Norton Show.<\/p>\n

\u2018I think she thought that was what [Swift] was thinking. But that was complete bulls**t. I can swear. It was complete f*****g bulls**t.\u2019<\/p>\n

Lewis released his EP, Survive, on November 14, featuring the smash hit single of the same name<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The EP release precedes his mammoth 2026 tour, which includes a headline slot at BST Hyde Park<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Taylor, meanwhile, released The Life of a Showgirl one month prior, on October 3, to mixed reviews from fans<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A promotional film titled Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl was also released the same day.<\/p>\n

Lewis also joked about being \u2018needy\u2019 with Justin Bieber<\/a> after the pair previously hit it off at a party in Los Angeles<\/a>, only for the Peaches singer to later ghost him.<\/p>\n

He said: \u2018Double tapped me. Which is fine. I\u2019m fine with that. I haven\u2019t thought about it every single day since.<\/p>\n

\u2018I became anxiously attached to Justin Bieber. Everyone else I\u2019d avoid. But for Justin, I was needy. I needed that. But, yeah, I haven\u2019t heard from him. I don\u2019t know if he\u2019s seen the thing.<\/p>\n

\u2018Listen, if I\u2019m Justin Bieber and I got a text from Lewis Capaldi, I\u2019m double tapping. I\u2019m not responding.<\/p>\n

\u2018But we\u2019ll always have that magical night together. We\u2019ll always have that moment.\u2019<\/p>\n
