Rich Dad Poor Dad author Robert Kiyosaki believes AI is going to shake up the jobs market like never before.<\/p>\n
\u201cBIGGEST CHANGE in MODERN HISTORY,\u201d he declared in an X post earlier this year. \u201cAI will cause many \u2018smart students\u2019 to lose their jobs. AI will cause massive unemployment. Many still have student loan debt.\u201d<\/p>\n
Kiyosaki isn\u2019t alone in his take. Dario Amodei, CEO of Anthropic \u2014 the AI company behind the large language model Claude \u2014 recently warned that AI could wipe out half of all entry-level white-collar jobs and push the unemployment rate as high as 20% (1).<\/p>\n
Tech mogul Elon Musk also weighed in on the topic at the U.S.-Saudi Investment Forum in November (2).<\/p>\n
Musk suggested that work will become \u201coptional\u201d in the future as AI continues to develop. His more optimistic take includes more time for leisure and, possibly, money becoming less and less important.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019ll be like playing sports or a video game or something like that,\u201d he said. \u201cIn the same way you can go to the store and just buy some vegetables, or you can grow vegetables in your backyard.\u201d<\/p>\n

Musk continued, explaining he estimates that if AI and robotics continue to improve money will \u201cstop being relevant\u201d in the future.<\/p>\n
