Chellace is no more. Love Island USA<\/a> season-seven couple Chelley Bissainthe and Ace Greene have \u201cdecided to part ways,\u201d Bissainthe announced on Page Six Radio<\/a> on December 12. \u201cIt really was a tough decision for the both of us and very hard to decide,\u201d Bissainthe said. \u201cBut you know, when you love someone, sometimes loving someone means letting go. So I think we just got to a decision that was best.\u201d Although she noted that she and Greene shared a \u201cmutual level of respect and understanding that we wanted this to work,\u201d she also suggested that sometimes it\u2019s better to \u201cleave off with light and love\u201d before a relationship \u201cturns into something it never needs to be.\u201d Out of respect for herself and her ex, she added that she doesn\u2019t think it\u2019s necessary to share more details about the breakup. And so far, the pair seem to be remaining cordial on social media. When Greene posted<\/a> on Instagram about hosting a Christmas toy and grocery giveaway on December 8, Bissainthe commented, \u201cSuch a blessing to the world \u2764\ufe0f.\u201d<\/p>\n chelley has publicly announced her & ace have chosen to go separate ways! \ud83d\ude33 pic.twitter.com\/uej7bjefV7<\/a><\/p>\n \u2014 tyris \u2730 (@TYRISPRINT) December 12, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n Greene, 23, previously asked Bissainthe, 28, to be his girlfriend during a post-villa baecation<\/a> in St. Lucia in September. \u201cI got me a girlfriend,\u201d he said after the successful candlelit proposal with a smiling Bissainthe confirming, \u201cI\u2019m a girlfriend.\u201d At the time, all the effort that went into upgrading his relationship status with Bissainthe had fans wondering what kind of stops Greene would pull out for an actual engagement. But now, unless they pull a Bennifer<\/a> and get back together, it seems like this love story is over. \u201cWe are put on this earth to experience people,\u201d Bissainthe said. \u201cSometimes we want it to last a lifetime, and sometimes \u2026 it\u2019s for that moment in time. I\u2019m very grateful nonetheless, and at the end of the day, I wish Ace the best. And for myself, I just have to focus on healing and growth, what\u2019s next.\u201d That leaves runners-up Nicolandria as the last couple standing, though Iris and TJ did get back together<\/a> after she left the villa with co-fourth-place winner Pepe.
