The internal report was released following a complaint to the public transparency watchdog the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).<\/p>\n

The council had initially declined to disclose the document through a Freedom of Information (FoI) request.<\/p>\n

The PPS last month said issues in building a “clear evidential picture” included “no CCTV coverage”.<\/p>\n

It also said the Sinn F\u00e9in employee’s resignation “contained no admission”, and a man interviewed by police “exercised his right not to answer questions”.<\/p>\n

Little-Pengelly called on Sinn F\u00e9in members to “tell the truth about what happened”.<\/p>\n

Speaking in the Northern Ireland Assembly on Monday, the DUP minister said the “disgraceful” vandalism appeared to be a “sectarian attack”.<\/p>\n

It comes after the first minister last week faced more questions<\/a> from assembly members over what her party knew about the incident. <\/p>\n

The DUP accused the Sinn F\u00e9in vice president of “misleading” the assembly in her statement in the chamber following the incident.<\/p>\n

But O’Neill said she was “very confident” in the actions she and her party had taken.<\/p>\n
