Odds have been released for the 2026 Super League Man of Steel race, offering a prediction as to who will comprise the Dream Team.<\/p>\n

After Jake Connor stormed his way to a maiden Man of Steel crown in 2025<\/a>, he\u2019s made sixth-favourite to win the award again, priced at 16\/1 alongside teammate Brodie Croft, and Hull KR hooker Jez Litten.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s the 2023 and 2024 winners Bevan French and Mikey Lewis who head the market at 8\/1 and that\u2019s enough to place them in this predicted Super League Dream Team<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve taken the shortest-priced player from each position in the Man of Steel betting to form a predicted Super League Dream Team, with a whopping five Wigan Warriors players named.<\/p>\n

Understandably, prices get a lot longer as it comes to the forward pack with the last forward (outside of hookers) to be crowned Man of Steel being James Graham back in 2008.<\/p>\n

All prices correct at the time of writing and taken from Betfred.<\/p>\n

What the 2026 Super League Dream Team looks like based on Man of Steel odds<\/p>\n

Full-back: Jai Field (Wigan Warriors) \u2013 10\/1<\/p>\n

Field beat out Lachie Miller to the Dream Team selection last year and deservedly so given his consistency so it would be no surprise to see him repeat that.<\/p>\n

Wingers: Matty Ashton (Warrington Wolves) \u2013 20\/1 and Liam Marshall (Wigan Warriors) \u2013 25\/1<\/p>\n

Matty Ashton is still recovering from an ACL and MCL injury so time could be against him but if he returns fit and firing then he and Liam Marshall could return to the Dream Team.<\/p>\n

Centres: Jake Wardle (Wigan Warriors) and Waqa Blake (Bradford Bulls) \u2013 both 20\/1<\/p>\n

Jake Wardle has consistently been a top five centre in Super League but Bradford Bulls\u2019 Waqa Blake would perhaps be a surprise inclusion.<\/p>\n

Halves: Mikey Lewis (Hull KR) and Bevan French (Wigan Warriors) \u2013 both 8\/1<\/p>\n

The 2023 and 2024 winners and joint-favourites for the award.<\/p>\n

Hooker: Jez Litten (Hull KR) \u2013 16\/1<\/p>\n

The clear standout hooker in 2025 and one of the few England players who impressed in the Ashes.<\/p>\n

Props: Alex Walmsley (St Helens) and Sauaso Sue (Hull KR) \u2013 both 50\/1<\/p>\n

Long odds given the unlikely chances of them winning Man of Steel but a likely pair of contenders for the Dream Team with Walmsley unlucky to miss out in 2025.<\/p>\n

Second-rowers: Junior Nsemba (Wigan Warriors) \u2013 25\/1 and Kelepi Tanginoa (Warrington Wolves) \u2013 33\/1<\/p>\n

Wire\u2019s new signing Kelepi Tanginoa could have a big impact at the Halliwell Jones Stadium whilst Junior Nsemba will be hoping for a bounceback year and a return to the Dream Team.<\/p>\n

Loose forward: Kallum Watkins (Leeds Rhinos) \u2013 33\/1<\/p>\n

It\u2019s to be seen if this is the main role that Watkins plays in 2026 but he starred their in Cam Smith\u2019s absence in 2025.<\/p>\n
