They were an audition. Celebrities and elite amateurs from across the sporting world all wanted the same thing: 18 holes alongside the most intimidating and gifted golfer the game has ever seen.<\/p>\n<p>Given the sheer length of Woods\u2019 career, it\u2019s no exaggeration to say he has played more pro-ams than some <a href=\"https:\/\/www.golfmagic.com\/tour\/pga-tour\" data-entity-type=\"taxonomy_term\" data-entity-uuid=\"0514d135-c0aa-4a5d-a5c8-f7197f44adc3\" data-entity-substitution=\"canonical\" title=\"PGA Tour\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">PGA Tour<\/a> professionals have played tour events.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Along the way, the 15-time major champion has seen every standard of golf imaginable \u2014 from surprisingly silky swings to efforts that were more about enthusiasm than technique.<\/p>\n<p>But among the countless famous faces Woods has teed it up with over the years, only a handful truly made him sit up and take notice.<\/p>\n<p> Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p> Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p>Which celebrity golfers have impressed Tiger Woods most?<\/p>\n<p>When asked in December 2022 to name the best fourball he had ever played in, Woods\u2019 answer came with a clear sporting theme \u2014 and a healthy dose of competitive bite.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[John] Smoltz, [Tom] Glavine and [Greg] Maddux when they were all pitching with the Braves. That was epic.
