We expect a final release to the public sometime in late January or early February. This is reportedly the last minor refresh before <a href=\"https:\/\/www.macworld.com\/article\/3009615\/leak-reveals-details-of-apples-secret-roadmap-ios-26-4-ios-27-and-ios-28.html\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.macworld.com\/article\/3009615\/leak-reveals-details-of-apples-secret-roadmap-ios-26-4-ios-27-and-ios-28.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">iOS 26.4<\/a> brings the revamped Siri upgrade we\u2019ve <a href=\"https:\/\/www.macworld.com\/article\/3008318\/internal-apple-code-hints-improved-siri-will-land-next-spring-with-homepad-hub.html\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.macworld.com\/article\/3008318\/internal-apple-code-hints-improved-siri-will-land-next-spring-with-homepad-hub.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">waited over a year<\/a> to get.<\/p>\n<p>iOS 26.3 beta: What\u2019s new<\/p>\n<p>We don\u2019t yet know all of the new features and changes to expect in iOS 26.3. We\u2019ll update this section as we learn more.<\/p>\n<p>Easier switching between Android and iPhone: We expect iOS 26.3 will ship with support for an easier iOS\/Android switching system made in collaboration with Google, and at the behest of the European Union. You can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.macworld.com\/article\/3004490\/hallelujah-easier-switching-between-iphone-and-android-is-on-the-way-soon.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">read more about that here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>iOS 26.3 beta: How to install the public beta<\/p>\n<p>If you want to test the iOS 26 beta releases but are not a registered developer, follow these steps:<\/p>\n<p>Click Sign Up on the <a href=\"https:\/\/go.skimresources.com?id=111346X1569486&amp;xs=1&amp;url=https:\/\/beta.apple.com\/&amp;xcust=1-1-3011656-1-0-0-0-0&amp;sref=https:\/\/www.macworld.com\/article\/3011656\/ios-26-3-beta-arrives-launch-of-new-siri-nears.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" data-subtag=\"1-1-3011656-1-0-0-0-0\" data-domain-name=\"apple\" target=\"_blank\">Apple Beta page<\/a> and register with your Apple ID.<\/p>\n<p>Log in to the Beta Software Program.<\/p>\n<p>Click Enroll your iOS device.<\/p>\n<p>Open the Settings app, tap General, then Software Update.<\/p>\n<p>In the Beta Updates section, select the iOS Public Beta.<\/p>\n<p>It may take a few moments after registering for the beta option to appear in Software Update.<\/p>\n<p>iOS 26.3 beta: How to install the developer beta<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll need to be registered as an Apple developer, but a free developer account will do. You can get one via Xcode or the Apple Developer app in iOS.
