\n The former Blackbrook junior came through the club\u2019s youth ranks from the Scholarship Under-16s and into the Under-18s Academy, where he was part of the team that secured the top spot in the 2023 and 2024 seasons, and an Academy title in 2023 with a Grand Final victory.\n<\/p>\n
\n Ahead of the 2025 season, Marsh joined the first team environment, and he will continue his progression in the 2026 season, where he will be a key man in St.Helens\u2019 Reserves team as well.\n<\/p>\n
\n The 20-year-old forward is comfortable playing at both hooker and loose-forward and has been training well throughout the 2026 pre-season under new Head Coach Paul Rowley.\n<\/p>\n
\n Marsh said: \u201cIt feels really good, and I\u2019m grateful for the opportunities I\u2019ve been given here.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cIt\u2019s always special staying here as a local lad. My family have supported me for a long time, so it means a lot to all of us.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
\n Last season Marsh made the move into a full-time sporting environment, and he believes the last twelve months have been a period of growth for him as both a player and a young man.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cIt was a big year for me. Physically, I feel like I improved a lot, and I got to learn so much just by being around the squad and learning from experienced lads.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Players like Morgan Knowles and Matty Lees, especially through the middle.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cThis year I\u2019ve also been picking things up from Wingy (Jake Wingfield) and Shoz (Joe Shorrocks) and I\u2019m just trying to learn as much as I can.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
\n Looking to be a leader within Saints Reserves programme this year, Cole is eager to take on responsibility and continue pushing his standards.\n<\/p>\n
