devastating Hodge report:<\/a><\/p>\n\u2026 we have heard clearly that we have been too\u00a0\u201cprescriptive\u201d\u00a0in how we implement\u00a0Let\u2019s\u00a0Create.\u202fWe recognise that we must give our artists and organisations more space to articulate their ambition, and\u00a0that we need to\u00a0reduce the administrative burden\u00a0we have placed on them. We\u00a0have already begun to simplify our application and monitoring processes, but we know that we\u00a0must\u202fdo more, more quickly, to ensure that all our processes are smoother, faster, and easier to use.<\/p>\n
We are committed to using\u202fthe Review\u2019s findings to improve, so that we can better meet the needs of the people we serve.\u202fIn\u202fthe coming weeks, we\u202fwill work with\u202fcolleagues at\u202fDCMS to\u202frespond\u00a0to\u00a0it\u00a0in full.<\/p>\n
