The reveal will take place during a special live show on ERT1 called \u201cSing for Greece \u2013 Ellinik\u00f3s Telik\u00f3s 2026 \u2013 I finalist\u201d (Sing for Greece \u2013 Greek selection \u2013 The finalists). Snippets of the competing entries will also be played during the show.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 264 songs were\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/eurovoix.com\/2025\/11\/03\/greece-264-songs-received-for-ethnikos-telikos-2026\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">submitted<\/a> for Sing for Greece. From these submissions, 28 songs will compete in the two semi-finals, of which 14 will qualify for the final, chosen exclusively by public vote. In the final, the winning song will be chosen by a public vote (50%) and two judging panels; one international (25%) and one Greek (25%).<\/p>\n<p>Klavdia represented Greece at Eurovision 2025 with \u201cAsteromata\u201d. She secured Greece\u2019s best result in the Eurovision Song Contest since 2013, by placing 6th in the final, scoring 231 points. Three years later, Greece earned their first top 5 finish with Paschalis, Marianna, Robert, and Bessy, who finished in 5th place with \u201cMathima solfege\u201d. In 2001, Greece achieved their first top 3 placing with Antique and the song \u201cI Would Die For You\u201d. The song became a European hit and charted across the continent. In 2005, Helena Paparizou returned to the Eurovision stage as a solo artist and brought Greece their first, and to date only, victory.
