Thornton Invitational prize money 2025: How much they all won"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lauren Coughlin and Andrew Novak won the Grant Thornton Invitational at Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, Florida.<\/p>\n<p>Coughlin and Novak led by one shot entering the final round and they closed things out with a brilliant 63 in the modified fourball format for a three-shot victory.<\/p>\n<p>They finished the week at 28-under par, which sets the all-time Grant Thornton Invitational scoring record.<\/p>\n<p>Coughlin and Novak each won $500,000 as they split the $1m first prize.<\/p>\n<p>That is the most amount of money Coughlin has ever made in a tournament.<\/p>\n<p> Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p> Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p>Jennifer Kupcho and Chris Gotterup, Charley Hull and Michael Brennan and Nelly Korda and Denny McCarthy finished in a three-way tie for second on 25-under par.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Novak joked after the tournament that he has now won the grand slam of team titles on the PGA Tour.<\/p>\n<p>The victory marks back to back wins in the team events for Novak on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.golfmagic.com\/tour\/pga-tour\" data-entity-type=\"taxonomy_term\" data-entity-uuid=\"0514d135-c0aa-4a5d-a5c8-f7197f44adc3\" data-entity-substitution=\"canonical\" title=\"PGA Tour\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">PGA Tour<\/a> in 2025, albeit the Grant Thornton Invitational does not count as an official tournament on the schedule.<\/p>\n<p>Novak also won the Zurich Classic of New Orleans alongside his good friend
