\n Momentum Collective, on Haydock Street, is a popular gym that was founded by BBC Gladiators season two winner, Amanda Wah.\n<\/p>\n
\n Since winning the show, the 46-year-old continued to run\u00a0the gym and aims to make fitness more accessible for children and adults.\n<\/p>\n
\n Now, Amanda will be bringing a growing fitness event to Warrington called Deka Mile, making Momentum Collective is the first Deka certified gym in the area.\n<\/p>\n
\n The event, which was created by Spartan Race, is regarded as a decathlon of functional fitness and focuses on strength and endurance and follows the success of Hyrox events.\n<\/p>\n
\n Participants compete across 10 functional fitness zones with 160 meters of running between each one.\n<\/p>\n
\n The zones include a 500-meter row, 25 medicine ball sit-up throws, and 100-meter farmers carry.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cFitness racing is clearly having a moment right now,\u201d said Amanda.\n<\/p>\n
