Over 368,000 viewers watched the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Portugal.<\/p>\n

An average of 368,600 viewers watched the live broadcast of Junior Eurovision 2025 on RTP1 last Saturday. This represented an average rating of 3.8% and an overall share of 11.5%.<\/p>\n

Despite a decrease in ratings (-1.5%), share (-2.8%) and overall viewers (-143,000 viewers) from last year, the 2025 contest ranks as the second most viewed Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Portugal since the country returned to the contest in 2017.<\/p>\n

Portugal\u2019s viewing figures for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest are as follows:<\/p>\n

2006: 1 million viewers \u2013 share unknown
\n2007: 1.09 million viewers \u2013 28.9% share
\n2017: 210,000 viewers \u2013 7.2% share
\n2018: 270,000 viewers \u2013 8.0% share
\n2019: 350,000 viewers \u2013 9.6% share
\n2021: 288,000 viewers \u2013 8.7% share
\n2022: 319,000 viewers \u2013 8.8% share
\n2023: 256,000 viewers \u2013 7.3% share
\n2024: 511,000 viewers \u2013 14.3% share
\n2025: 368,600 viewers \u2013 11.5% share<\/p>\n

In\u00eas Gon\u00e7alves represented Portugal at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025 with \u201cPara onde vai o amor?\u201d. She finished 13th with 73 points.<\/p>\n

Portugal in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest<\/p>\n

Portugal debuted at the 2006 edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Bucharest. The country placed second-last in 2006 and 2007 and withdrew in 2008. They did not return until 2017, when they were represented by Mariana Ven\u00e2ncio, who placed 14th with her song \u201cYouTuber\u201d. In 2024, Victoria Nicole finished 2nd for Portugal, its best-ever result in the contest. <\/p>\n
