EastEnders fans are claiming that they\u2019ve \u2018worked out\u2019 who started the fire as Max Branning returned to Walford once again.<\/p>\n
Things are ramping up on the BBC<\/a> soap in recent weeks, with Christmas<\/a> on Albert Square just around the corner. At the centre of the action is Zoe Slater, with Michelle Ryan\u2019s daughter trying to find her long-lost son.<\/p>\n In scenes aired on Monday (December 15), a number of secrets about Zoe\u2019s past came to light. On top of Anthony Trueman learning that he\u2019s likely the father of Zoe\u2019s children, the mysterious Jasmine admitted to police that she\u2019s her daughter<\/a>.<\/p>\n Zoe remains unaware of the reveals as is currently dealing with who\u2019s been stalking and tormenting her for the past few months. Initially reluctant to believe her, Kat Slater has been trying her best to find out who has been leaving Zoe a number of ominous messages, including a message at the Christmas lights event telling her to \u2018die\u2019.<\/p>\n In scenes aired on Tuesday (December 16), Jasmine confirmed once again to the police that she has no connection to the Fords. Fans were adamant that she was linked to the crime family after she pushed Cindy Beale<\/a>, who was in conflict with the family, down the stairs.<\/p>\n Despite his family hating her, Oscar Branning has been hopeful of finding love with Jasmine. However, he decided to call things off with her when she refused to tell him anything about her mysterious past.<\/p>\n While this was happening, Anthony <\/a>came clean to Chelsea Fox about being the father of Zoe\u2019s kids, making her promise not to tell her as he wants to warn them to stay away from his mum. Later in the evening, Anthony lied to Kat and said that he found out that both of Zoe\u2019s twins died after their births.<\/p>\n Elsewhere, Zoe was stunned in No. 25 when she learned that a fire had started and that someone had unhooked the smoke alarm. Left alone in the burning room, Zoe was rescued by Oscar, who heard screams from outside the house.<\/p>\n Oscar was later rushed to hospital after inhaling smoke from the fire, where Jasmine was warned by the Brannings to stay away from him.
