Josh Horowitz\u2019s Happy Sad Confused podcast<\/a>, discussing It: Welcome to Derry spoilers and DC Films. Within these, one topic that stood to fans was Fuchs revealing how he penned down a Lobo film script many years ago. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n\u201cI\u2019m really excited to see Lobo finally make his appearance in the Supergirl trailer,\u201d Fuchs exclaimed. \u201cBecause I had written a Lobo script, many years ago for DC, which of all the things I\u2019ve written that didn\u2019t get made, I think that Lobo script was my favorite,\u201d he revealed.<\/p>\n
Describing what the script for the film looked like, Fuchs added, \u201cThe tone of that Lobo film was Guardians of the Galaxy if Quentin Tarantino had directed it. It was a hard R, psychotic movie, very violet.\u201d <\/p>\n
He continued, \u201cIt made Deadpool look like a Disney family film, which is probably why it ultimately didn\u2019t get made.\u201d As Fuchs once again mentioned the unfinished project to be one of his favorites, Horowitz asked him who he wanted to cast in the film. \u201cMomoa,\u201d Fuchs answered instantly. \u201cWho could play that role but [Jason] Momoa? It was always in my brain, Momoa, and Michael Bay was going to direct it,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
Fuchs then also mentioned a scene in the script, similar to Batman v Superman\u2019s famous \u201cMartha\u201d scene. He explained how \u201ca bad guy pleads for Lobo\u2019s forgiveness\u201d by saying that \u201che\u2019s got a mother to think about,\u201d revealing the name Martha.<\/p>\n
And as this catches Lobo by surprise, he says that his mother\u2019s name is also Martha, resulting in the \u201cbad guy\u201d getting \u201chopeful.\u201d The actor added, \u201cAnd then boom, Lobo just blows his brains out and goes, \u2018What the f*** was that about?’\u201d Fuchs shared. <\/p>\n
