{"id":326107,"date":"2025-12-20T07:38:13","date_gmt":"2025-12-20T07:38:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/326107\/"},"modified":"2025-12-20T07:38:13","modified_gmt":"2025-12-20T07:38:13","slug":"leigh-leopards-boss-outlines-clear-2026-goal-as-history-targeted","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/326107\/","title":{"rendered":"Leigh Leopards boss outlines clear 2026 goal as history targeted"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Leigh Leopards boss Adrian Lam has made no secret of their one target in 2026: to reach Old Trafford for the first time in their history.<\/p>\n<p>Having thrice been relegated from the top-flight in the summer era, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.loverugbyleague.com\/tag\/leigh-leopards\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the Leopards<\/a> have become one of the leaders of the Super League pack since their return in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Finishing in the top six three seasons on the bounce and lifting the Challenge Cup in the first of those, each of their last two campaigns have been ended at the play-off semi-final stage away against rivals Wigan Warriors.<\/p>\n<p>With the start of the 2026 Super League season now less than eight weeks away, the Leopards plan on going one better next year.<\/p>\n<p>Want more Love Rugby League?
