Emmerdale <\/a>fans were left thinking Celia Daniels was heading for a downfall until a shocking twist came along. The villainous farmer has been executing a reign of terror over the Yorkshire village for months now, and has also been busy conning Moira whilst running a slavery ring on her farm, having coerced Paddy Dingle’s dad Bear into it several weeks ago.<\/p>\n Together with her foster son Ray Walters, whom she took in off the streets several years ago, Celia (Jaye Griffiths) recruited teenagers April Windsor and Dylan Penders into the criminal operation and things have been going from bad to worse ever since. Earlier this week, viewers were thrilled when Moira discovered doctored invoices with the woman she thought was her business partner, and marched round to The Woolpack to slap her right across the face.<\/a><\/p>\n In Friday’s instalment of the ITV<\/a> soap, Moira (Natalie J Robb<\/a>) confronted Celia once again, with Cain Dingle in tow, and the lies and manipulation from the evil businesswoman<\/a> continued to pour out. It all culminated in Celia offering Moira a wad of cash, which she refused to take and promptly walked out. Not satisfied with a lump sum of \u00a320,000, Ray demanded a weekly sum of \u00a32,000 from the pub chef, and was having none of it when Marlon tried to plead for more time. He told him: “Keep your end of the bargain. If you can’t, she is ours.”<\/p>\n Ray was then unsure with Celia’s plans to flee the village, especially after securing the weekly payment, but Celia had another trick up her sleeve. She said: “My lovely boy. You have no imagination whatsoever, do you?” It was then that she coolly unveiled her plan to kidnap April, take her with them to Wrexham, and thereby create “even more of an incentive” to keep making payments.<\/p>\n It is just the latest in a long line of Celia’s wicked deeds but fans immediately took to social media to share their reaction. One said: “Said it months ago when the heat is on Celia packs up leaving devastation behind her on to next. Marlon and Rhona be happy unless they take April [shocked face],” and another said: “So Celia is planning on kidnapping April….. Good to see Cain back to being Cain and with Moira – that has been sorely missed in 2025.”<\/p>\n Despite the shock twist, some have predicted that it will in fact be Celia’s last evil deed in Emmerdale<\/a>. One said: “Having just watched tonight’s Emmerdale something tells me that Ray and Celia are not going to make it to Wrexham! Not when everyone finds out what’s been going on with Bear, Dylan and April!” and another wrote: “I think Moira will report Celia to police re Chris turkey scam!”<\/p>\n Actress Jaye Griffiths has confirmed that she will be leaving the programme after relatively short stay in Emmerdale, but how she leaves remains a mystery. Speaking about her exit, Jaye said: “I knew it was finite, which I am very sad about, because I would like to stay forever, but it\u2019s such a strong arc. It\u2019s heaven, one of the nicest places I\u2019ve ever worked, and I\u2019ve done a little bit of work before!<\/p>\n “It is gentle and kind and professional and funny, and people care that it\u2019s good. People care that we tell the story properly. It\u2019s a joy to come to work.
