Who is playing Brainiac in the DCU?<\/p>\n
Unlike what rumors had said, the DCU\u2019s Brainiac<\/a> is not an actor that director James Gunn worked with in the past, nor is it one of the actors in the reported shortlist<\/a>. Instead, German actor Lars Eidinger will play Brainiac. It\u2019s the biggest role in the career of Eidinger, who has starred in miniseries like All the Light We Cannot See and appeared in Noah Baumbach\u2019s Jay Kelly and White Noise. Other notable movie roles for the actor include 2024\u2019s Dying, 2022\u2019s About Joan, and 2020\u2019s My Little Sister.<\/p>\n Currently, very little is known about the Superman sequel Man of Tomorrow, outside of the fact that it will release on July 9, 2027, and that David Corenswet\u2019s Superman, Nicholas Hoult\u2019s Lex Luthor, and Rachel Brosnahan\u2019s Lois Lane are all set to return for the movie.<\/p>\n The Man of Tomorrow is one of Superman\u2019s many nicknames; however, there have also been a handful of DC comic runs that have incorporated the \u201cMan of Tomorrow\u201d name into their official title.
