Motivated towards the year ahead, Vollering is currently getting the base-level work done in Spain, aiming to strike back at her critics.<\/p>\n<p>However her Thursday session did not go well. Despite the sunny weather and solid temperatures pointing towards a calm day in Spain, the European champion crashed on one of the descents, suffering multiple cuts and bruises.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The day didn&#8217;t end so well,&#8221; Vollering\u00a0wrote on Instagram. &#8220;I tried to kiss the asphalt, but I can tell you: don&#8217;t try that yourself,&#8221; she laughed. The images she shared show a bloody chin and hand.
