{"id":328248,"date":"2025-12-21T14:30:08","date_gmt":"2025-12-21T14:30:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/328248\/"},"modified":"2025-12-21T14:30:08","modified_gmt":"2025-12-21T14:30:08","slug":"lennox-lewis-has-made-his-prediction-for-tyson-fury-vs-anthony-joshua-i-have-to-pick-him","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/328248\/","title":{"rendered":"Lennox Lewis has made his prediction for Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua: &#8220;I have to pick him&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/boxingnewsonline.net\/boxer\/lennox-lewis\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Lennox Lewis<\/a> has delivered his thoughts on a money-spinning encounter between <a href=\"https:\/\/boxingnewsonline.net\/boxer\/tyson-fury\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tyson Fury<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/boxingnewsonline.net\/boxer\/anthony-joshua\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Anthony Joshua<\/a>, which is seemingly in the works for next year.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/boxingnewsonline.net\/news\/fury-joshua-confirmed-under-condition\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">It was reported earlier this month that the long-awaited clash was being discussed for 2026<\/a>, with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skysports.com\/boxing\/news\/12040\/13483718\/tyson-fury-has-indicated-he-will-return-to-fight-anthony-joshua-in-2026-if-deal-is-right-confirms-frank-warren\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Fury\u2019s promoter Frank Warren then confirming that a Joshua showdown is being explored for next summer<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, both former world champions are expected to enter \u2018keep-busy\u2019 fights in the coming months, with \u2018AJ\u2019 set to appear on a Riyadh Season show in February.<\/p>\n<p>Fury, of course, has not fought since suffering a second points defeat to <a href=\"https:\/\/boxingnewsonline.net\/boxer\/oleksandr-usyk\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Oleksandr Usyk<\/a> in December 2024, which came just a month before the unexpected announcement of his retirement.<\/p>\n<p>But now, it would appear that \u2018The Gypsy King\u2019 could once again make a sensational comeback, with heavyweight contender Arslanbek Makhmudov being mooted as a possible opponent.<\/p>\n<p>As for Joshua, <a href=\"https:\/\/boxingnewsonline.net\/news\/jake-paul-vs-anthony-joshua-live\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">he did what most expected and blasted out YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul in six rounds last Friday in Miami<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>That contest was the first time that Joshua has fought since his fifth-round stoppage defeat to Daniel Dubois in September 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Should his fight with Fury materialise, then heavyweight legend Lewis, who shared his thoughts in a recent interview with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@dailymailsport\/video\/7585653714350853398?_r=1&amp;_t=ZN-92O9KGC0GZS\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mail Sport<\/a>, believes Fury would be the man to get his hand raised.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would have to say Tyson Fury.
