This legendary Jane Austen book has seen a number of iconic adaptations, but one great version is now available to stream on Netflix<\/a>. <\/p>\n The Christmas<\/a> holidays pose many opportunities to sit down and rewatch old classics \u2013 and the streamer has added a new one for viewers.<\/p>\n While enjoying a glass of sherry, or a cup of Earl Grey tea, you might fancy watching a quintessentially English romantic drama.<\/p>\n What better fit, than the 2005 film adaptation of Austen\u2019s Pride<\/a> and Prejudice, which is back on Netflix today.<\/p>\n The platform teased it on social media yesterday<\/a>, leaving fans guessing which drama they were adding to their catalogue.<\/p>\n \t\t\t\tGet personalised updates on all things Netflix\t\t\t<\/p>\n Wake up to find news on your TV shows in your inbox every morning with Metro\u2019s TV Newsletter.<\/p>\n Sign up to our newsletter<\/a> and then select your show in the link we\u2019ll send you so we can get TV news tailored to you.<\/p>\n Starring Keira Knightley<\/a> and Matthew Macfadyen, this film came to be seen as a beloved take on the 1813 regency romance novel.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n \t\t It scores highly on Rotten Tomatoes<\/a>, with a 90% score on the Popcornmeter and boasts impressive reviews with one critic (Don Shanahan) calling it \u2018stately, emotional, sumptuous, and perfect in every way.\u2019<\/p>\n Elizabeth Bennett (Knightley) faces increasing pressure from her family to marry. She\u2019s the second eldest daughter of five Bennett sisters \u2013 all of whom aren\u2019t wedded.<\/p>\n Then, when Elizabeth is introduced to Mr Darcy (Matthew Macfadyen), things start to slowly change. <\/p>\n However, their romance isn\u2019t without its complications.
