Ariana Grande<\/a> has been hailed for her \u2018absolutely spot on\u2019 impression of fellow pop star Katy Perry<\/a> while hosting Saturday Night Live<\/a>.<\/p>\n The 32-year-old Wicked star, who shared a rare post about her boyfriend Ethan Slater<\/a> earlier this week after rumours circulated that they had split, showed off her comedic skills in a number of skits throughout the night. <\/p>\n However, it was the singer\u2019s impression of Katy in a sketch centered around Christmas<\/a> duets that went viral online.<\/p>\n Singing alongside another SNL cast member, who impersonated Bob Dylan<\/a>, the duo collaborated on a holiday track.<\/p>\n As well as wearing a long dark wig, Ariana also sported an astronaut costume in reference to Katy\u2019s controversial Blue Origin space flight earlier this year<\/a>.<\/p>\n Taking to social media, viewers praised Ariana\u2019s \u2018insane\u2019 impersonation, with @Glitchymagic writing: \u2018Ariana\u2019s vocal control is unreal. Spot on Katy, but with that signature Grande flair.\u2019<\/p>\n \t\t @sabsupernova added: \u2018I will literally never get over Ariana\u2019s ability to sound like anyone she wants.\u2019<\/p>\n To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web @BakshiSoumajit also claimed that she did the impression \u2018so accurately\u2019, while @Badlil called it \u2018insane\u2019.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, some fans claimed that the pair could potentially fall out over the skit, as @GloryDoge wrote: \u2018Shots fired \ud83d\ude06\u2019<\/p>\n @eyup_io similary said: \u2018Imagine the look on Katy\u2019s face\u2026 Can\u2019t wait to see the chaos unfold.\u2019<\/p>\n Joined by an all-female crew, Katy flew into space on an 11-minute flight on Jeff Bezos<\/a>\u2019 Blue Origin Space Mission.<\/p>\n Many questioned the environmental impact of\u00a0what some have called a \u2018vanity flight\u2019<\/a>, with Katy\u00a0getting most of the criticism<\/a>.<\/p>\n Responding to the criticism<\/a>, however, Katy said she felt like a \u2018human pi\u00f1ata\u2019 in reply to a social media post which was condemning the hurtful comments.<\/p>\n \t\t \t\t She wrote: \u2018I love you guys and have grown up together with you and am so excited to see you all over the world this year!
