How has Minamino been doing for Monaco?<\/p>\n
Many Liverpool supporters were disappointed to see Minamino leave in 2022, but after barely getting a look-in during meaningful games, he had to for the good of his career.<\/p>\n
The Japan international\u2019s case is somewhat similar to that of Federico Chiesa currently, where he would do well when given chances but then be frozen out for the big matches.<\/p>\n
Since heading to Monaco, Minamino has been more trusted to be a regular starter.<\/p>\n
His goal-scoring record is still not phenomenal \u2013 he has 23 goals and 17 assists in 120 appearances \u2013 but Minamino has at least found a proper home to showcase his talents.<\/p>\n
The former Liverpool star was good enough to be voted into the Ligue 1 Team of the Season in 2023\/24, also picking up Monaco\u2019s Player of the Year for the same campaign. This season, Minamino has managed four goals and three assists in 21 appearances. Sadly, it seems probable he will not have the chance to add to those numbers. <\/p>\n
