Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice are focused on their own families and charitable work rather than acting as a bridge between the Royal Family and the Sussexes, according to royal author Richard Fitzwilliams.<\/p>\n

Mr Fitzwilliams told GB News that while Eugenie is sometimes discussed as a potential link to Prince Harry, he believes the York sisters\u2019 priorities are elsewhere.<\/p>\n

\u201cEugenie and Beatrice have other issues that they\u2019re concerned with,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He pointed to what he described as an increase in their charity involvement and said the King appears supportive of them as non-working royals with independent careers.<\/p>\n

Mr Fitzwilliams said: \u201cActually, it\u2019s very much the case King Charles wants them on board and to continue being on board, although not working royals, of course. <\/p>\n

\u201cThey are happily married, with careers, and do quite a lot of work for charity.\u201d<\/p>\n

He highlighted Eugenie\u2019s connection to the King\u2019s Foundation, saying it reflects a degree of trust and inclusion.<\/p>\n

Mr Fitzwilliams argued that for Beatrice and Eugenie, keeping steady public optics matters.<\/p>\n

This is particularly the case when the York family name is constantly tainted with negative headlines.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think that they\u2019d be playing a terribly active role in other issues,\u201d he said, concerning Prince Harry and Meghan.<\/p>\n

Mr Fitzwilliams suggested that appearances and reputation management are central to how the York sisters will navigate the current landscape.<\/p>\n
