The Pussycat Dolls appear to have signalled their comeback by enlisting new management in what fans are interpreting as confirmation of a reunion.<\/p>\n

CAA music division head Rob Light and Paul Franklin, who specialises in reunion tours, are now reportedly set to represent the group in a significant development.<\/p>\n

Lead singer Nicole Scherzinger has fuelled speculation by hinting at future plans for the band.<\/p>\n

The move comes despite the group’s turbulent history of internal disputes and legal conflicts between members Nicole Scherzinger, Kimberly Wyatt, Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta, Carmit Bachar and Melody Thornton.<\/p>\n

The signing represents a major step forward for the chart-topping act, which has faced numerous obstacles in their previous attempts to reunite.<\/p>\n

The Pussycat Dolls began as a burlesque troupe before transforming into a pop group in 2003 when Nicole, Melody and Kaya joined existing members Carmit, Ashley, Jessica and Kimberly.<\/p>\n

Kaya departed the following year, while Carmit exited in 2008.<\/p>\n

During their time together, the group released two studio albums: PCD in 2005 and Doll Domination in 2008.<\/p>\n

They achieved considerable chart success with tracks including Don’t Cha, Buttons, When I Grow Up, I Hate This Part and Hush Hush.<\/p>\n

The band officially disbanded in 2010 after seven years together.<\/p>\n

Their first attempt at reuniting came in 2019, when all members except Melody came together and released a new single called React.<\/p>\n

The group had planned to embark on a tour in 2020, but these arrangements were shelved when the Covid-19 pandemic struck.<\/p>\n

The tour was ultimately cancelled due to both the ongoing health crisis and legal complications that arose between members.<\/p>\n

Five years on from those abandoned plans, reports suggest the Dolls are now plotting a fresh series of live performances.<\/p>\n

Kimberly Wyatt, 43, has reportedly been telling friends that the group have finally worked through their disagreements and is ready to reform.<\/p>\n

A source told The Sun: “Kimberly has been open about the fact the girls have sorted out their issues.”<\/p>\n

The insider added: “She also told pals they’ve been discussing a tour. The Pussycat Dolls certainly had their differences over the years, but a comeback would send fans wild.”<\/p>\n

The previous reunion attempt was marred by a bitter dispute between Nicole and the band’s founder, Robin Antin.<\/p>\n

Antin, 60, launched legal action against the singer, accusing her of “extortion” over the planned tour.<\/p>\n

The lawsuit alleged that Nicole refused to participate unless her stake in the group’s joint company was increased from 49 per cent to 75 per cent.<\/p>\n

According to court documents, Nicole sought creative control and “final decision-making authority” over the group, citing the growth of her personal brand and opportunities she would need to sacrifice.<\/p>\n

Nicole hit back forcefully through her lawyer, Howard King, who dismissed the allegations as “ludicrous and false.”<\/p>\n

Melody was not part of the 2019 reunion following a disagreement with Nicole regarding lead vocal duties.<\/p>\n

Nicole recently took to social media to mark a significant milestone for one of the group’s biggest hits.<\/p>\n

Sharing footage from the Buttons music video, she celebrated the track reaching one billion views on YouTube.<\/p>\n

“From then to now, seeing this video hit 1 billion views on YouTube fills my heart with so much gratitude,” Nicole wrote.<\/p>\n

She continued: “For the PCD fans. For the memories. For what’s to come.”<\/p>\n

The cryptic message about future plans has only intensified fan excitement about a potential comeback.<\/p>\n
