With The Boys<\/a> Season 5 steadily approaching its release date, Karl Urban<\/a> has come out to share some tidbits about the final installment of the fan-favorite Prime Video series. Urban, who portrays the eccentric supe-hunter William \u2018Billy\u2019 Butcher on the show, opened up about the plot of the upcoming edition of The Boys in a recent interview, while also providing insight into the goal of Antony Starr\u2019s<\/a> Homelander.<\/p>\n

Karl Urban says The Boys will spend most of Season 5 \u2018trying to stop Homelander\u2019<\/p>\n

During his appearance at the recently concluded Tokyo Comic-Con 2025, the New Zealand actor talked about what fans can expect from the last season of the show. In the panel discussion, he stated that the much-awaited Season 5 of The Boys will kick off with Billy and the gang getting \u201cback together.\u201d<\/p>\n

As per The Direct<\/a>, Karl Urban noted, \u201cAt the beginning of the season, Homelander\u2019s goal is to become a god. He\u2019s going to rule the world, and the only people that can stop him are Butcher and The Boys.\u201d <\/p>\n

The Mortal Kombat 2<\/a> star then added, \u201cHowever, The Boys are in prison. So, first of all, we need to get the gang back together. And then, we spend the whole season trying to stop Homelander. You\u2019re in for a crazy, wild, fun ride. Let me tell you, nobody is safe. Nobody. It\u2019s going to be fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

Furthermore, Jack Quaid<\/a>, who plays Hughie Campbell in the series, also chimed in on the conversation about The Boys Season 5. While he refrained from giving away any information, he exclaimed that fans can expect big things from the ultimate season of the show.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe can\u2019t give too much away, but I will say I\u2019m very happy with the way everything wraps up. I think Eric Kripke and our writers did an incredible job bringing an end to this amazing story. I think fans will be very, very happy with how it all turns out,\u201d Quaid stated. <\/p>\n

The Novocaine<\/a> star concluded, \u201cI know it\u2019s very vague, but I can\u2019t say anything, or they will kill me. You have a lot to look forward to.\u201d<\/p>\n
