Even then, he played down the disruption. \u201cOn Sunday in Koksijde there was a very clear smell of weed on one section\u2026 I wasn\u2019t really bothered by it and it\u2019s certainly better than having beer thrown in my face. Above all, I remember that there was also a lot of positive support from the crowd.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Despite the distraction, the rider from <a href=\"https:\/\/cyclinguptodate.com\/alpecin-deceuninck\" title=\"Alpecin-Deceuninck\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Alpecin-Deceuninck<\/a> appeared unaffected on the bike, once again asserting his authority over the field on the sandy Hofstade circuit.
