Looking to restock on food and drink after everyone has tucked into their Christmas<\/a> dinners?<\/p>\n Then you might be in luck \u2013 supermarkets<\/a> have revealed their holiday opening times<\/a> for Boxing Day<\/a> 2025.<\/p>\n For shoppers looking for seasonal deals or just picking up extra supplies, shops re-opening the day after Christmas could be a life-saver.<\/p>\n But branches will have different opening hours on the day \u2013 so check your local store\u2019s specific timings. <\/p>\n Thankfully, Metro has compiled all the key opening and closing times for you below.<\/p>\n \t\t\t\tSign up for all of the latest stories\t\t\t<\/p>\n Start your day informed with Metro’s News Updates<\/a> newsletter or get Breaking News<\/a> alerts the moment it happens. <\/p>\n Which supermarkets will be closed on Boxing Day 2025?<\/p>\n Some shops will be entirely closed to give staff a well-deserved break for the festive season on December 26.<\/p>\n Aldi has said it will not open any branches on Boxing Day. Rebecca Heley, a communications director at the German-owned retailer, said: \u2018Christmas is a special time, and we want to ensure all of our colleagues have the opportunity to relax and enjoy it with their loved ones. That\u2019s why all Aldi stores will be closed on Boxing Day this year.\u2019<\/p>\n Lidl will also remain closed for Boxing Day, but a spokesperson has added that \u2018customers are encouraged to check their local store\u2019s opening hours on the online store finder or through the Lidl Plus app\u2019.<\/p>\n \t\t \t\t M&S<\/a> stores will be shut on December 26 too. Jayne Wall, operations director for M&S, has said that \u2018Christmas at M&S is very special\u2019 and the company is grateful for its employees\u2019 work in the festive season.<\/p>\n While not open to customers, some M&S colleagues will be working to reset stock for re-opening on December 27.<\/p>\n Waitrose has said that a small number of stores will be open on Boxing Day for Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat orders \u2013 but most will be shut.<\/p>\n Which supermarkets are open on Boxing Day 2025?<\/p>\n Tesco<\/a>, Asda<\/a> and Sainsbury\u2019s<\/a> will all be open for business on Boxing Day, although their operating hours will be slightly different than normal.<\/p>\n Tesco<\/p>\n \t\t You can check the opening times for your local stores\u00a0here<\/a>. Some smaller Tesco locations could have different hours.<\/p>\n Tesco stores: 9am to 6pm<\/p>\n Tesco Express: 9am to 7pm<\/p>\n Morrisons<\/p>\n The chain<\/a> is set to open at relatively regular timings.
