The Boland Cavaliers have been bolstered ahead of the 2026 domestic season with the signing of an experienced winger.<\/p>\n

According to Rapport,<\/a> Jade Stighling \u2013 who has played for both the Vodacom Bulls and the Pumas \u2013 has returned to South African rugby following a stint in the Major League Rugby with the Seattle Seawolves.<\/p>\n

The 32-year-old has signed a two-year deal with the Wellington-based side.<\/p>\n

Coach Hawies Fourie highlighted the impact Stighling is expected to make, as the Cavaliers look to improve on a dream 2025 season where they ended in the top four of both the SA Cup and Currie Cup.<\/p>\n

\u201cJade is a very well-rounded player. He has no weaknesses in his skill set,\u201d Fourie said. \u201cHe is good in the air, a good finisher, very fast and a hard-working guy, as well as a good team man. He is the kind of player we are looking for.\u201d<\/p>\n

The former Bulls flyer brings valuable overseas experience back to the South African game after his time in the United States, with Boland confident that his maturity and work ethic will strengthen their backline group.<\/p>\n
