Ruben Amorim\u2019s Manchester United can now sign former Chelsea star Conor Gallagher in January for just \u20ac30 million.<\/p>\n

Manchester United have certainly improved a lot under Ruben Amorim, after a disastrous campaign last time out. But there is still a lot that needs to be taken care of. The Portuguese manager seeks more quality in different areas of the pitch as he looks to help the Red Devils get back to their glory days.<\/p>\n

Manchester United are keen on Conor Gallagher<\/p>\n

Heading into the winter transfer window, reinforcing the midfield is a top priority for Manchester United. According to a report from Fichajes<\/a>, Amorim\u2019s team are keen on signing Conor Gallagher, who is set to be available for \u20ac30 million.<\/p>\n

Gallagher joined Atletico Madrid from Chelsea in the summer of 2024. While he might not be a regular starter under Diego Simeone, the English international enjoys a prominent role, and he is quite highly valued by people at the club.<\/p>\n

Despite his contract running until the summer of 2029, he has constantly been linked with a move back to the Premier League. While Simeone\u2019s team have no intentions of sanctioning a loan exit, they won\u2019t mind a permanent transfer.<\/p>\n

Since he is not a regular starter, they are willing to cash in on him and reinvest the funds to bolster their squad. However, they want at least \u20ac30 million to kick-start negotiations with an interested club.<\/p>\n

Manchester United see him as an ideal fit for Amorim\u2019s system and are ready to approach Atletico Madrid to sign the 25-year-old, who has \u2018special abilities<\/a>\u2018 to be a leader, as per former Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech. Gallagher can feature anywhere in the centre of the park and has enough Premier League experience to have an instant impact at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

After having monitored him for months, the Red Devils are ready to make a move.
