Uijtdebroeks has signed a four-year contract, and his feelings with the Spanish team are positive so far. \u201cSo far, it\u2019s been positive. We\u2019ve started well and I\u2019m getting to know the team. We\u2019re already doing various tests, like the time trial, to fine-tune things.\u201d<\/p>\n
Addressing the contrast between Visma\u2019s reputation and Movistar\u2019s identity, he added: \u201cMovistar is a team with a Spanish identity, but Visma is also very Dutch. Movistar knows it has to become more international to belong among the best teams, and I think this is a step in that direction.\u201d<\/p>\n
