TalkSPORT journalist Alex Crook has slammed West Ham for \u201cterrible business\u201d ahead of the January transfer window.<\/p>\n

West Ham are in serious relegation danger<\/a> and Nuno Espirito Santo appears to be fighting for his job<\/a> at the London Stadium<\/a>. <\/p>\n

The Hammers are currently in 18th place and take on their relegation rivals Wolves and Nottingham Forest in two of their next three games.<\/p>\n

Alex Crook issues Niclas Fullkrug exit verdict<\/p>\n

Speaking on talkSPORT<\/a> on Monday morning, Crook was critiquing everything that is going wrong with the Irons.<\/p>\n

From managerial appointments to poor transfer recruitment, things just seem to be getting from bad to worse.<\/p>\n

Now, West Ham could have a new manager<\/a>, making him the third permanent one this season, and there are still 20 more games to go.<\/p>\n

Niclas Fullkrug is also set to join AC Milan<\/a> on loan with just a \u00a35million option to buy.<\/p>\n

This is significantly lower than what was reported a few weeks ago, showing just how poor the Irons are with their transfer dealings.<\/p>\n

Crook said: \u201cHe\u2019s had a terrible time at West Ham and now he\u2019s going on loan to AC Milan with a \u00a35million option to buy. That\u2019s terrible business.\u201d<\/p>\n

The decision makers behind the scenes need to take a clear look at themselves in the mirror over the decisions made in the past few years.<\/p>\n

They have signed bang average players and then thrown managers under the bus when they fail to get the best out of them.<\/p>\n

David Sullivan<\/a>, if he actually cares about saving West Ham\u2019s future, needs to overhaul the entire recruitment team.<\/p>\n

Ideally, he must appoint a proper sporting director who can then make the right appointments to ensure they are run well behind the scenes.<\/p>\n

There also needs to be little to no agent power and transfers must be made based on the fixed playing philosophy, which is pre-determined and only managers who can thrive in that system must be brought to the club. <\/p>\n

This obviously will not happen overnight and in time for January, so for the next few weeks, they need at least two players capable of strengthening the playing eleven.<\/p>\n
