One of Tyson Fury<\/a>\u2018s former foes has seemingly put the rest of the heavyweight division on notice.<\/p>\n

Fury\u2019s own status is currently up in the air. He retired from the sport in January after back-to-back defeats to Oleksandr Usyk<\/a>, though it has been heavily rumoured that \u2018The Gypsy King\u2019 looks set to return in 2026 ahead of a potential meeting with long-term rival Anthony Joshua.<\/a><\/p>\n

Another major rival that Fury has in boxing is former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder<\/a>, who was involved in an epic trilogy with the Brit between 2018 and 2021.<\/p>\n

The first clash ended in a controversial split decision draw, but the second and third meetings were knockout wins for Fury, which began a poor run of form for Wilder.<\/p>\n

Further defeats followed to Joseph Parker and Zhilei Zhang, making it four losses in five fights, though \u2018The Bronze Bomber\u2019 did get back to winning ways in June when he stopped Tyrrell Herndon in the seventh round.<\/p>\n

Recently, Wilder has been linked to a shock match-up against current heavyweight king Usyk, but a clash against fellow heavyweight contender Derek Chisora has also been touted.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Boxing Social<\/a>, Wilder declared that \u2018nobody is safe\u2019 ahead of his return, and appeared to suggest he would be happy to face Chisora after the pair came face-to-face earlier this month.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is the fight business. No one is safe, do you understand me?<\/p>\n

Nobody is safe in the fight business. You just never know who want to pick a bone with you. I\u2019ve known Derek for a long time. I know how he is, so I know what\u2019s up.<\/p>\n

When he came up to me, that\u2019s like a challenge. We\u2019re like two Gorillas beating their chests at each other. Two alpha that want to go up against each other, that\u2019s how it is.<\/p>\n
