Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby was left gobsmacked when a joke photo she posted went straight over many of her followers’ heads, with the ‘mam police’ branding her ‘scruffy’<\/p>\n

Former Geordie Shore<\/a> star Charlotte Crosby<\/a> was forced to defend herself after the “mam police” slammed her over her daughter’s behaviour on a plane. The family, including Charlotte’s fianc\u00e9 Jake Ankers<\/a>, have taken a winter trip to the Maldives, flying out yesterday to the tropical destination.<\/p>\n

But while they waited for the plane to take off, the couple, who share daughters Alba, three, and Pixi, 11 months, were trying to pass the time. Charlotte shared a joke photo that she had edit to appear to show baby Pixi dangling from a bar on the plane.<\/p>\n

The reality star moved on to share an image of a face mask she was wearing, before circling back to her photo of Pixi when she’d landed in the Maldives. She went on to reveal she’d been targeted by social media users, who had completely missed the joke and had been bombarding her with abuse.<\/p>\n

Celebrity Big Brother<\/a> winner Charlotte posted a photo of the original image of Pixi, in which Jake could clearly be seen holding Pixi up to the fire exit sign. She wrote: “Right we have landed in the Maldives, wait until I tell you all the adventure it took to get here…<\/p>\n

“BUT FIRST why have I been getting sooooo many messages off people kicking off at Pixi doing pull ups on the fire exit sign. Let the girl live for gods sake!!!!!!<\/p>\n

“LMAO come on yous! You didn’t actually think that was real did you?! I just photoshopped Jake out, we were delayed for ages on the runway and bored!<\/p>\n

“And couldn’t stop laughing at how Pici looked like she was dangling herself! When I tell you the mam police have been losoing their s*** in my inbox!” She then shared original photo.<\/p>\n

Charlotte addressed the backlash she had received on her story, while she and Jake wound down with a couple of cocktails after their long, stressful day. She revealed the kids were finally asleep, after “7,000 hours”, and that she was still gobsmacked by some of the messages she’d had about Pixi.<\/p>\n

She told her followers: “I’m just a little bit too tipsy to talk right now. But anyone that thinks that my 11-month-old daughter scaled a plane and did pull ups on a pole…”<\/p>\n

Jake interjected: “Needs to f***ing check themselves before they wreck themselves!” “Yeah,” Charlotte agreed. “Check it man. She’s f***ing special but she’s not that f***ing special.”<\/p>\n

Sitting at the other side of the table, Jake added: “If she was, we’d be retired!” Charlotte went on to share one of the messages she’d received about the edited image.<\/p>\n

It read: “Not guna lie that’s just scruffy. “Can’t find my child” are you joking, on a flight. Your confined to your seats for god sake. Your surely not that busy that your child\/baby just mooches off round the plane. Get a grip!! For god sake!!” Charlotte wrote: “This message in particular really made me lol… at how serious they thought I was being.”<\/p>\n
