Liam Gallagher<\/a>\u00a0has\u00a0stoked\u00a0rumours\u00a0by teasing\u00a0possible\u00a0Oasis<\/a>\u00a0activity for next year.<\/p>\n

Earlier this month,\u00a0the\u00a0frontman\u00a0appeared to confirm that the band would not be touring again until 2027 at the earliest<\/a>, replying to inquisitive fans on X by tweeting, \u201cWe\u2019re not doing anything in 2026 sorry\u201d.<\/p>\n

That was then followed up by a blunt denial that Oasis would be playing at Knebworth next year, as well as a comment\u00a0that \u201cI\u00a0don\u2019t\u00a0[have]\u00a0snizzle\u00a0to do until 2027 I mean happy Christmas.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier today (December 30),\u00a0however,\u00a0Liam\u00a0fuelled\u00a0the possibility that there might be announcements to do with Oasis sooner than that. Replying to one fan who wrote that \u201cOasis 2025 will officially be over in a day\u201d,\u00a0Liam responded: \u201cBring on 2027 I mean 2026 I mean happy easter\u201d.<\/p>\n

He also sent out a couple of teasers relating to\u00a0the make-up of Oasis setlists,\u00a0in the event that\u00a0they do come together for more dates in the next few years.<\/p>\n

One fan asked if \u2018Listen Up\u2019 would make the list in the future, to which he said: \u201cIf we tour again there will be changes to the set list\u00a0thems\u00a0the rules\u201d.<\/p>\n

Another X user made it\u00a0clear they wanted \u2018Columbia\u2019 to make the cut next time around. \u201cOh\u00a0it\u2019ll be there if we tour again,\u201d Liam\u00a0replied.<\/p>\n

It comes after\u00a0Oasis recently announced a \u201cpause\u201d as they reflect on their huge \u2018Live \u201825\u2019 reunion tour<\/a>, which\u00a0ended in Brazil<\/a>\u00a0on November 24.<\/p>\n

The band\u2019s 41-date tour\u00a0began in Cardiff on July 4<\/a>\u00a0and saw them take in five homecoming shows at Manchester\u2019s Heaton Park, seven at Wembley Stadium in London, and gigs across the UK, Europe, Asia,\u00a0Australia\u00a0and the Americas.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd so it came to pass,\u201d wrote the band in a message to fans, before quoting a\u00a0damning article<\/a>\u00a0from journalist Simon Price: \u2018The most damaging pop cultural force in recent British history\u2019 found its way into the hearts and minds of a new generation.<\/p>\n

\u201cFrom Gallagher Hill to the River Plate, from Croke Park on the banks of the Royal Canal to the City\u00a0Of\u00a0Angels, the love, joy, tears and euphoria will never be forgotten.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThere will now be a pause for a period of reflection,\u201d they finished, signing off simply as Oasis.<\/p>\n

Rumours of more tour dates next year, as well as potential new music, have been rife in recent months. Liam recently teased more shows on X<\/a>,\u00a0writing, \u201cI know things you don\u2019t know\u201d to a fan who asked him if he\u00a0was\u00a0sad the tour would\u00a0be ending\u00a0soon.<\/p>\n

And, at the\u00a0last Wembley show of their comeback run in September<\/a>, he\u00a0told fans \u201cSee you next year\u201d before jokingly slapping himself on the wrist<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

He later said that this comment led to \u201ca few tuts and raised eyebrows,\u201d when a fan asked him directly about it on X.<\/p>\n

As for the setlists,\u00a0Liam has already teased that there are \u201cloads more classics\u201d that could make the cut in the future<\/a>. They played the exact same\u00a023\u00a0songs in the same order at all 41 shows earlier this year, although\u00a0guitarist Gem Archer recently revealed that the original setlist was four songs longer<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In October, a British peer seemed to\u00a0accidentally reveal that Oasis would be playing Knebworth next summer<\/a>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0in what would mark 30 years since the band\u2019s famous shows at the Hertfordshire stately home \u2013\u00a0before backtracking on her\u00a0claims.<\/p>\n

Lady Taylor of Stevenage stood up in the House of Lords on October 22 and said, via\u00a0The Guardian<\/a>, \u201cNext July, I have the benefit of five days of Oasis concerts in the fantastic venue of Knebworth House, which is just about a mile from my house.\u201d<\/p>\n

She then told the broadsheet: \u201cI was speaking\u00a0hypothetically following\u00a0speculation that they would play Knebworth again as they did in August 1996. I understand the band have not confirmed this.\u201d<\/p>\n

What has been confirmed, however, is that\u00a0a new film documenting Oasis\u2019 return and comeback tour is also on the way, and is being produced by Peaky Blinders\u00a0creator Steven Knight<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In\u00a0a glowing five-star review of the opening night of\u00a0Live\u2019 25\u00a0in Cardiff<\/a>,\u00a0NME\u00a0wrote: \u201cPlaying before a pop-art-meets-psychedelia visual spectacular that never distracts but will look sick on a phone, they seem the quintessential stadium band playing the greatest hits of greatest hits.\u201d<\/p>\n
