The IBF has informed The Ring<\/a> that purse bids between the two will officially take place December 30. The winner of their contest will be made the mandatory contender for the IBF 154-pound title.
Bakhram Murtazaliev, the champion, will defend his crown on January 31 against Josh Kelly<\/a>.
Adams, the IBF\u2019s No. 5 contender, is fresh off a lopsided win over former WBC interim champion, Serhii Bohachuk<\/a>. Since beating him for a second time, Adams (26-4, 16 KOs) has called out several of the division’s champions, to no avail. <\/p>\n
