\n\tIn November, Liam Gallagher<\/a> definitively confirmed<\/a> that Oasis<\/a> would not be active in 2026. Now, however, the musician seems to be back-tracking on his comments, despite previously saying he was \u201cfucking serious.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter a fan tweeted, \u201coasis 2025 will officially be over in a day..,\u201d Gallagher commented, \u201cBring on 2027 I mean 2026 I mean happy easter.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe comment seems to contradict his claims that Oasis would be on pause in the new year. Last month, when someone asked \u201cIs there gonna be a 2026 tour?\u201d he responded<\/a>, \u201cNO,\u201d in capital letters. \u201cARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS?\u201d another asked. \u201cYES IM FUCKING SERIOUS,\u201d\u00a0he responded<\/a>. \u201c[Is] there gonna be a 2027 tour,\u201d another queried. \u201cMaybe,\u201d he replied. <\/p>\n

\n\tAlthough his new assertion is completely non-committal, Gallagher did also reply to a few queries about the band\u2019s future set lists. One fan asked if \u201cListen Up\u201d would be added to the show. \u201cIf we tour again there will be changes to the set list thems the rules,\u201d Gallagher replied<\/a>. Another fan asked for \u201cColumbia.\u201d Gallagher responded<\/a>, \u201cOh it\u2019ll be there if we tour again.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tOasis spent much of 2025 on the road performing their highly-anticipated reunion tour<\/a>. Throughout the run, the musicians dropped a few hints that they were planning to return. In September, when the band wrapped their London shows<\/a>, Gallagher\u00a0issued a slew of thank yous<\/a>, ending with one for the fans. \u201cMost of all, I wanna thank you lot for keeping the faith and putting this band back on the map,\u201d he said, adding a few moments later: \u201cSee you next year!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAs it currently stands, the only thing Oasis have on the docket for the future is the release of the\u00a0film being made in conjunction with the reunion<\/a>\u00a0tour. The movie was created and produced by\u00a0Peaky Blinders\u00a0scribe Steven Knight and directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, who helmed the 2012 LCD Soundsystem concert film\u00a0Shut Up and Play the Hits. But the film currently has neither a title, nor a release date, and it\u2019s unclear what kind of format the project will take, or if it\u2019s even considered a documentary.\u00a0In fact, this week when one fan asked Gallagher about the film, he responded<\/a>, \u201cWhat documentary.\u201d<\/p>\n
