So much so, he expects <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/paul-rudd\/\" id=\"auto-tag_paul-rudd\" data-tag=\"paul-rudd\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Paul Rudd<\/a> to perform the gag as he shuffles off his mortal coil. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tFor those catching up, when Rudd appears on O\u2019Brien\u2019s shows to promote a movie, he dupes the presenter with a clip from Mac and Me, the 1988 science fiction caper. The prank started in February 2004, when Rudd teased O\u2019Brien with what he thought would be an exclusive look at the Friends finale. Instead, he got the clip of Mac and Me\u2018s Eric falling off a cliff in a wheelchair.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tRudd repeated the joke this week on Conan O\u2019Brien Needs A Friend, the podcast on which the Clueless actor appeared to promote <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/anaconda\/\" id=\"auto-tag_anaconda\" data-tag=\"anaconda\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Anaconda<\/a>. Rudd didn\u2019t disappoint, but O\u2019Brien detected that his heart was not in it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t\u201cThis is the least you\u2019ve tried ever,\u201d O\u2019Brien roared. \u201cIs there part of you that just hates yourself when you\u2019re doing the fake setup now?\u201d Rudd replied: \u201cAre you kidding me? Absolutely. Hate it when I set it up.
