Zoe Salda\u00f1a<\/a>\u00a0has just become the second highest-grossing actress of all time after the success of Avatar: Fire and Ash. <\/p>\n

Following only Scarlett Johansson<\/a> \u2013 who pips her to the post in terms of box office success \u2013 through her roles in movies including Avatar<\/a> and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Zoe has amassed $14,998,849,825 (\u00a311,160,647,379) worldwide, according to movie industry data site\u00a0The Numbers<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Jurassic World star Scarlett\u2019s films, including The Avengers<\/a>, Black Widow and Lost in Translation, have her grossing a huge $15,401,507,141 (\u00a311,461,799,950), just over 47-year-old Zoe\u2019s impressive stats. <\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Zoe has now overtaken actor Samuel L Jackson with his films \u2013 ranging from Pulp Fiction to The Hateful Eight and Snakes on a Plane \u2013 standing at $14,613,700,731 (\u00a310,877,538,269). <\/p>\n

While the numbers are reflective of the films, they do not equate to how much each actor earns or their net worth, with Forbes reporting the richest actors in 2025 was Arnold Schwarzenegger, who has billionaire status.<\/p>\n

In 2024, the highest paid actors were Dwayne \u2018The Rock\u2019 Johnson (\u00a365million), Ryan Reynolds (\u00a363m),\u00a0and Kevin Hart (\u00a360m).<\/p>\n

Of course Zoe\u2019s parts in various billion-dollar blockbuster franchises has helped bolster the figure, with the actress starring in Avengers: Endgame, Avengers: Infinity War, Avatar, Avatar: The Way of Water, Guardians of the Galaxy<\/a>, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl and the Star Trek<\/a> reboot.<\/p>\n

Metro rates Zoe\u2019s recent James Cameron<\/a> flick, Avatar: Fire and Ash, 3\/5 stars<\/a>, describing it as having \u2018gargantuan runtimes\u2019 and in need of a \u2018monster edit\u2019. <\/p>\n

Her first turn in Avatar came in 2009, which alongside the\u00a0long-gestating\u00a02022 sequel Avatar: The Way of Water<\/a> still stand at number one and three top box office movies of all time<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been confirmed there are two more films in the franchise still to come, with Zoe talking about the age she will be when the last ones release. <\/p>\n

\u2018I think, if all goes to plan, I\u2019m going to be 53, 54 for the fifth and very last one,\u2019 she confirmed on Deadline\u2019s\u00a0The Actor\u2019s Side<\/a> earlier this year. <\/p>\n

Responding to host Pete Hammond\u2019s amazement at her 26-year dedication to the franchise, she added: \u2018It\u2019s a gift to be able to revisit a character that has given me so much, to revisit a place that has been so magical \u2013 not just for me, but for so many people around the world.\u2019<\/p>\n

It seems her maths more or less checks out. <\/p>\n

Avatar 4 is anticipated to land on December 21, 2029 \u2013 when the actress is 51 \u2013 while the most recent release date for Avatar 5 was December 19, 2031, 22 years after the first Avatar movie, and when the actress will be 53.<\/p>\n
