One of Wigan Warriors\u2019 incredible 2025 quadruple-winning squad has had their new club confirmed for the 2026 campaign.<\/p>\n

Whilst Wigan Warriors\u2019 men ceded their quadruple that they won in 2024, the women stepped up under Denis Betts as they won all three available trophies, as well as the mid-season Nines tournament<\/a>.<\/p>\n

They were near flawless throughout the year, losing just once in the year when York Valkyrie defeated them, whilst also drawing against St Helens.<\/p>\n

That saw them claim the Challenge Cup, League Leaders Shield and Grand Final, and one player who was integral was 24-year-old Emily Veivers, who has now returned to former club Norths Devils.<\/p>\n

Veivers, who played at hooker for Papue New Guinea in the end of year Pacific Championships, had joined Wigan from Norths Devils ahead of the 2025 season and she now returns after just one season in England.<\/p>\n

She\u2019ll understandably be a massive loss for a Wigan side who will have a target on their back, though recruitment has been strong and has been headlined by the addition of England international Kelsey Gentles and Leeds Rhinos\u2019 Bethan Dainton.<\/p>\n

News of Veivers\u2019 return to Norths Devils was announced by the BMD Premiership side via social media.<\/p>\n

Their post read: \u201cEmily\u2019s home! Following a successful sting in the UK, Emily Veivers has returned to Bishope Park for the 2026 season!\u201d<\/p>\n

The move back down under is not a surprise but the fact she has not signed with an NRLW side is, given her obvious talent. The BMD Premiership is effectively the women\u2019s equivalent of what the Queensland Cup is to the NRL.<\/p>\n

With her exit now confirmed, she ends her Wigan Warriors career with a haul of trophies across 11 matches.<\/p>\n
