Rebel Wilson<\/a> opened up about losing her virginity at 35<\/a>, writing, \u201cPeople can wait till they\u2019re ready or wait till they\u2019re a bit more mature. And I think that could be a positive message. You obviously don\u2019t have to wait until you\u2019re in your thirties like me, but you shouldn\u2019t feel pressure as a young person.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added that at one point she lied about how old she was when it happened, telling a friend that she \u201cdid it just to get it over with when I was like 23.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cNormally I would just leave the room when the conversation was happening. And then the people that said, \u2018Oh, at 24, it\u2019s so late.\u2019 And then I\u2019m sitting here thinking, \u2018Oh my god, my number\u2019s 35. What the hell? I\u2019m going to look like the biggest loser,\u2019\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s absolutely incredible, if I had been born 20 years later, I probably would\u2019ve explored my sexuality more. I just knew I was attracted to men, and that was the normal thing,\u201d Rebel added. \u201cAnd so when I started opening myself up probably more after my father\u2019s death and realizing, oh, even though I\u2019d seen marriage as a terrible thing and waste of time, I started opening myself up to that. And then only years later, meeting women and having feelings for a woman, and that, I just think it\u2019s a sign of where society kind of was.<\/p>\n

Basketball legend A.C. Green revealed that he didn\u2019t lose his virginity until after he got married in 2002 at the age of 38. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt is definitely worth waiting,\u201d he said in an interview at the time, via ABC News<\/a>. \u201cWhen you marry the right person at the right time have you no regrets. For me, I have nothing but smiles on my face.\u201d<\/p>\n
