Ahead of CES 2026, the Clicks keyboard case has returned, and after several years of iterations, the accessory may finally make sense for folks who hate typing on touchscreens. Instead of layering a massive keyboard beard hanging off the bottom of your phone, the new Power Keyboard is now a power bank that attaches with MagSafe. To keep it more contained, the keyboard slides into your awaiting palm like an old-school Nokia Sidekick.

The Power Keyboard—made by Clicks, which is fronted by YouTuber Michael Fisher, aka MrMobile—is basically a slide-out keyboard built into a 2,150 mAh battery. It’s compatible with MagSafe and Qi2 for iPhones and Android phones. Instead of physically connecting to your phone’s USB-C port like past versions, the Power Keyboard will depend on your device’s Bluetooth connection.

                        © Clicks © Clicks

Clicks’ keyboard phone case was always a double-edged sword. It could offer physical keyboard controls to help you return to the fine inputs of a BlackBerry device, long after the company went defunct. It also extended the length of your phone, ensuring anybody without cargo pants couldn’t haul one around. Clicks eventually released a special keyboard case for the Motorola Razr line of foldable phones. That at least let users type on the smaller exterior display.

The Power Keyboard’s limited battery size won’t offer nearly as much longevity as other 5,000 or 10,000 mAh external batteries. The power pack is mainly there to add a few scant hours of phone battery life and otherwise power the keyboard. That Bluetooth connectivity means you could use the Power Keyboard as backup controls for a tablet or smart TV if you truly hate typing in commands with a remote or touchscreen. Preorders start Friday, though we won’t have the device in hand until this spring. Those who preorder can get it for $79 excluding tax and shipping. If you wait, you’ll have to pay $109.

Oh look, another BlackBerry recreation We still don’t know all the specs about Clicks Communicator, including what chip it’s running inside. © Clicks

At the same time, Clicks is trying to sell you on a “second phone” that’s extremely BlackBerry coded. It’s called the Communicator, and as its name implies, the $500 device is designed for texting. The company suggests that it’s supposed to be a secondary device you keep around with you for responding to Slack or Discord chats. To that end, there’s a specific “Prompt Key” that will surface any of your various group chats and messaging apps. That key also doubles as a quick switch for voice-to-text.

The Communicator is slightly smaller than your typical phones at 131.5 mm, or around 5.1 inches tall. It’s slightly wider than your average iPhone to accommodate the ergonomic keyboard. Sure, it only weighs 170 grams, but it will be fighting for pocket space alongside your regular everyday carry. At least the Communicator includes a physical SIM card tray, microSD slot (supports up to 2TB to accompany the built-in 256GB of storage), and a headphone jack. The Communicator is also running a version of Android 16 with an overlay designed by the people behind Niagara Launcher. This helps bring all your emails and texts from your various apps to the fore on the home screen without needing to dig through notifications.

The Communicator is going on sale later this year. If you preorder before Feb. 27, you can get it for an early bird price of $400. You can either set up a reservation deposit of $200 or pay the preorder in full. The device should begin shipping “later this year.”

BlackBerry will never die, not so long as the legion of Dr. Frankensteins keeps trying to bring it…

[16
2596,16034,131727,37583,134717,2306,2334,86,56,54,55
post-348771","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-mobile","tag-android","tag-blackberry","tag-ces-2026","tag-clicks","tag-iphone-accessories","tag-mobile","tag-smartphones","tag-technology","tag-uk","tag-united-kingdom","tag-unitedkingdom
["GET
