Salford RLFC launched their season tickets earlier this week with an impressive number already sold, as revealed by Ryan Brierley.<\/p>\n

The former Salford captain made the decision to hang up the playing boots and move into the role of chief executive officer with his former club, following the RFL\u2019s decision to grant membership to Salford<\/a> RLFC under the consortium led by another former player, Mason Caton-Brown.<\/p>\n

Brierley has since spoken to Serious About Rugby League about what has to be done and what will be done ahead of the club\u2019s Championship opener on Friday, 16th January, whilst also offering an update on a possible name change<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As it stands, Salford are going under the moniker Salford RLFC and it\u2019s under that name they are selling season tickets, which were officially launched on the 29th of December.<\/p>\n

At a time when people are naturally hard pushed for cash after the festive period, Brierley has now spoken on the club\u2019s social media to confirm impressive early sales of season tickets.<\/p>\n

Salford Red Devils season tickets break milestone mark<\/p>\n

After launching in the afternoon of Monday, 29th December, Salford RLFC have confirmed that over 600 season tickets have been sold by the morning of Thursday, 1st January.<\/p>\n

That was announced by Brierley, who in a video posted on club socials, said: \u201cHi Salford fans, I\u2019m just wishing you a Happy New Year.<\/p>\n

\u201cSeason tickets have been on sale for the last couple of days now and there has been a real special effort as we\u2019ve managed to creep up around the 600 mark now.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want to do one last push before the Oldham game. It\u2019s critical for the club, especially in these early stages, to get as much support as possible.<\/p>\n

\u201cPlease, please, please push as much as you can and get these season tickets out there. It will be massive for the club going forward.\u201d<\/p>\n

Salford have priced their season tickets at \u00a3205<\/a> for adults with a season ticket gaining fans access to the 12 home games in the Championship season, a major saving compared to paying on the day for each game.<\/p>\n
