\n Footy Africa have been talking up the Albion man\u2019s chances of being a successor to Mo Salah on the right of the Liverpool attack if he maintains his present progress.\n<\/p>\n
\n Minteh\u2019s agent Bakary Bojang recognised there would be interest in his player from big clubs but appeared to be playing down talk of a move when questioned briefly.\n<\/p>\n
\n But numbers which have been highlighted recently show potential and room for progress.\n<\/p>\n
\n Minteh has the most touches of any Prem player in the opposition box with 124, seven more than Erling Haaland.\n<\/p>\n
\n But he has just one goal and three assists.\n<\/p>\n
\n Albion head coach Fabian Hurzeler said: “It shows that we get into the opponents’ box a lot of times, which is positive.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cWe know there is still potential from Minteh and other players in execution in certain moments, where he can improve. He is there, that is the main bit.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Our team brings him into this position, that’s a positive.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cWe have to give him the support and help in how to find better solutions in these moments, stay calmer, focus on technique of the execution and try not to get too emotional.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cThen I am quite convinced that he is getting back on track, back to scoring.”\n<\/p>\n
\n It has become commonplace for fans and media following star players from their own countries to talk hopefully about them joining a more famous club than Albion.\n<\/p>\n
\n Footy Africa writer Foday Manneh appears keen on Minteh heading to Anfield.\n<\/p>\n
\n But Bojang was non-committal on that and would not be drawn on a possible valuation for the former Newcastle winger.\n<\/p>\n
\n Bojang said: \u201cI know bigger clubs are interested and monitoring his development.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cI just need Yankuba to keep focus and deliver. Everything will follow.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
