The Masked Singer is back, and viewers say all clues point to a comedian and TV presenter being inside the Can of Worms costume\"CanCan of Worms on The Masked Singer(Image: ITV)<\/p>\n

The Masked Singer was back with a bang and a few new tricks for its seventh series on Saturday night.<\/p>\n

For the first time, the ITV<\/a> show hosted by Joel Dommett features “Masked Bands,” including Goldfish and No Trout and Emperor Penguin and the Antarctic Funkeys who will be revealed each episode.<\/p>\n

The 2026 contestants are: Red Panda, Moth, Disc Jockey, Sloth, Gargoyle, Can of Worms, Conkers, Arctic Fox, Toastie, Teabag, Yak, and Monkey Business.<\/p>\n

And after Can of Worms performed, viewers were largely agreeing on one star to be the secret performer.<\/p>\n

Appearing to put on an American accent, fans of the show speculated they were hiding a distinctive voice and said the clues all point to Great British Bake Off<\/a> Extra Slice host Tom Allen.<\/p>\n

Clues included:<\/p>\n

pastries on a shelfgrowing flowers\/vegetablesI have great fingers, runs in the familyA picture of James May and Richard Hammond on top of a fence<\/p>\n

The comedian appeared as a studio guest on Top Gear during Series 28, which could easily explain the photo of James May and Richard Hammond.<\/p>\n

The pastries could be a clear reference to his hosting on Extra Slice, and he often shares clips of his gardening adventures on Instagram, fitting in with the growing flowers and vegetables clue.<\/p>\n

Viewers speculated it was Tonm behind the mask, with one writing on X: “Oh hold on…those pastries, if they have ANY link to Bake Off, it may be to do with their companion show An Extra Slice & Tom Allen is one of the hosts of that show, so might be him.”<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s Tom Allen !! Stoke clue his completely tour at Stoke. And he\u2019s always on about gardening,” a second agreed.<\/p>\n

And a third added: “Definitely Tom Allen.”<\/p>\n
