{"id":351293,"date":"2026-01-04T07:28:08","date_gmt":"2026-01-04T07:28:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/351293\/"},"modified":"2026-01-04T07:28:08","modified_gmt":"2026-01-04T07:28:08","slug":"burnham-on-sea-comedy-film-screening-to-be-held-for-charity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/351293\/","title":{"rendered":"Burnham-On-Sea comedy film screening to be held for charity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Burnham-On-Sea\u2019s Ritz Cinema will host a special charity film afternoon in January to raise funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association\u2019s Somerset &amp; West Branch.<\/p>\n<p>The event takes place on Monday 19th January 2026 at 2pm, with doors opening from 1.30pm.<\/p>\n<p>The film being shown is Finding Your Feet, a heartwarming 2018 British comedy starring Imelda Staunton and Celia Imrie.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-227026 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/Image1-7.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"503\" height=\"710\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>The film follows Lady Sandra Abbott, who, after discovering her husband\u2019s affair, moves in with her estranged, free\u2011spirited sister on a council estate. She discovers friendship, confidence, and a fresh start \u2013 proving it\u2019s never too late to reinvent your life.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets cost \u00a35 per person, with all proceeds going to MNDA. A raffle will also take place during the afternoon.
